Go Utes!
Thanks MJ!

How appropriate for the March Madness. Another cool thing is that yesterday aka Sunday I went to a youth fireside featuring 3 Ute football players... Learned a cool way to look a the gospel. One dude, can't remember his name (Sorry George!) but he played at the Fiesta Bowl and now is the safety coach and has something to do with recruiting... talked about how he studied the opposition over and over to find how well they were in their fundamentals and their strengths and weaknesses and likened it to Satan and how he imagines that he is studying our strengths and weakness and how we are doing in the fundamentals! I think he's right on in his assumption.
Well thanks for reading! Now, go forth and post your 4th picture from your 4th file.

I believe.....

that the Son and the sun are the center of my world.

that I am a diamond in the rough. Unfortunately, there is a lot more polishing left.

that I can make a difference in this world if I could just stop stumbling and making mistakes on the way!

that being a wife is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I'm glad I'm done shopping.

that being a mother is the 2nd best (because marriage before the baby carriage is the best way) and is one of my greatest challenges and joys.

that I need to learn how to be a better friend.

that I need to serve more willingly.

most importantly and is now a known truth that I'm a child of God.

Kodak Moments of the Heart

It always seems that I'm wishing I had brought my camera or I catch the moment right before or after instead of the one I was trying to capture!

I had one of those moments on Monday night on our way home from our Family Home Evening activity. At our home, the activity is the popular FHE assignment; this week it was Henry's turn to select the activity.. After spending about an hour Ice skating, wall climbing and dance revolutioning(?) we headed home to have our ice cream treats. All three of the kid-os were buckled right next to each other. Usually this causes contention and much "_____ is touching me!" This evening there was a very different noise coming from the back seat. The laughs and giggles were happy and kind. The best best part came when I heard "Mom look at us!" I turned around I saw my kids with their arms wrapped around each other declaring "we're family!"

When I close my eyes I see their smiling faces with arms wrapped around each other and hear their sweet voice declaring each other family. I will forever tuck that Kodak moment in heart and pull it out to remind me how blessed I am to have such beautiful children even though they don't always show it!
